Strengthening Public Health Departments Through Immunization and Testing Certification
A Best Practices and Exemplary Care Webinar from The Compliance Team and NACCHO
May 6, 2022, Spring House, PA – The Compliance Team (TCT), a nationally recognized accreditation organization, in collaboration with NACCHO, National Association of County and City Health Officials, is hosting a webinar on immunization and testing best practices and exemplary care for health departments.
Sandra Canally, RN, Founder and CEO, of The Compliance Team and Chris Crookham, MPA, CEM, BEAM, (he/him) Manager, Immunizations Program, Disease Prevention and Health Promotion Division of Austin Public Health are the featured speakers leading the webinar.
This engaging discussion will highlight The Compliance Team’s Immunization and Testing Certification programs and their recent experience with the certification of the City of Austin Public Health Department.
As NACCHO’s Gold Affiliate Partner, TCT has designed a unique CLIA waived testing and vaccine certification program, which includes adult and pediatric specific standards that verify and validate best practices for local health departments (LHDs). The certification ensures that designated policies and care practices are implemented. LHDs that receive this certification become certified Exemplary Providers® of TCT.
The webinar is Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at 2 PM ET. Learning objectives include:
- Demonstrate the importance of third-party validation for immunization and testing programs.
- Application of certification standards to everyday practice through the eyes of the Austin Dept. of Health.
- Educate and provide LHDs the framework of the Immunization and Testing certification program, inclusive of the necessary tools for success.
