The Compliance Team Supports Texas Nurse Practitioners Through Corporate Sponsorship, Exhibition, and Education
September 2022, Spring House, PA — The Compliance Team (TCT), a nationally recognized healthcare accreditation organization, has joined Texas Nurse Practitioners (TNP) as a corporate affiliate in support and recognition of nurse practitioners (NPs) across the state and the quality of healthcare they provide to patients every day.
“As a nurse-led healthcare accreditation and certification organization, we know firsthand the significant value nurse practitioners bring to patient care,” said Sandra Canally, RN, founder and CEO, and author of The Compliance Team’s point-of-contact improvement protocols and measures. “As a corporate affiliate, we are taking a more active role in supporting TNP’s values. TNP provides students and nurse practitioners with educational opportunities essential for practice and career development and supports NPs in expanding their practices to provide Texans access to quality healthcare.”
The Compliance Team recognizes that NPs are integral to superior healthcare; they are valued care providers in Patient-Centered Medical Home environments, physician’s offices, rural health clinics, local health departments, and hospitals. TCT’s accreditation and certification programs help healthcare providers improve everyday health services to their patients. Clear and concise, yet comprehensive standards and a simplified process are hallmarks of TCT’s programs, which are centered around Canally’s passionately held belief that “every patient deserves exemplary care” and that “healthcare excellence should not be difficult or costly to achieve.” Exemplary Provider® status is granted to organizations that demonstrate outstanding patient care practices and compliance to TCT’s quality standards.
The Compliance Team will be attending and exhibiting at the TNP Annual Fall Conference Sept. 22-25, 2022. In support of the educational needs of TNP’s members, TCT is also hosting a webinar Oct. 12, 2022, on “The Benefits of Starting a Rural Health Clinic – Where to Begin and How to Manage,” presented by Kate Hill, RN, VP Clinic Division and Elizabeth Ellis, DNP, FNP-BC, FAANP, CRHCP.
