February 2019, Spring House, Pennsylvania – The Compliance Team, Inc., the only national healthcare accreditation organization to confer Medicare-approved Exemplary Provider® accredited status, recently announced upgrades to its proprietary patient satisfaction reporting and benchmarking subscription service, the Patient Quality Measurement™ (PQM) Satisfaction Portal. The PQM database is provided as a value-added benefit to all its clients.
Richard Canally, Executive Vice President, explains, “Patient satisfaction surveys are critical for identifying areas in need of improvement. We created our own database over 21 years ago and include it, at no additional charge to the client, in all our Exemplary Provider accreditation programs. This allows our clients to benchmark their patient care services and practices against thousands of other provider surveys in our database. We currently have over two million questionnaire results.”
There are two enhancements to the satisfaction portal: The Patient Survey Kiosk and the Patient Survey Invite. The Patient Survey Kiosk lets the patient easily enter satisfaction survey data at the time of service via an on-line computer or tablet device at the provider’s location. The Patient Survey Invite makes it easy for the provider to initiate a secure, time-sensitive survey email to each of its patients. Previously, providers had to manually submit patient surveys, which were conducted via phone call, paper ballot or an in-store interview. The new upgrades are expected to increase and improve client participation.
The Compliance Team’s PQM Satisfaction Portal is the nation’s oldest and largest database repository of HIPAA-compliant patient satisfaction questionnaire results. It can be utilized by stand-alone single locations as well as small and large multi-site organizations.
